My First Six String

"I got my first real six-string Bought it at the five-and-dime.
Played it till my fingers bled, was the summer of '69."

Well that was Bryan Adams who probably learned to play guitar even before he was born, only that would explain the amazing music he has made over the years and mesmerized the world.

But this post is not about him or any other great music legends. This is about ME.


Its about the day when i bought MY first six string.

Yes, after wasting years of thinking about it, I finally bought a Givson.
I still remember holding it for the first time. God it was amazing.
And the invigorating smell of the timber made me feel powerful. I was elated and overjoyed.

Just the thought of me playing a guitar brought a smile on my lips.
It was like i falling in love, again.

The raw sound that came out as my fingers unknowingly reached the strings was melody to my ears and at that very point standing in that shop where 3 was crowd, literally, i promised my self that i would not stop till i can actually make music from my guitar which my trainer refers to as a

"ONE MAN ARMY".


Its been 6 weeks that i have been regularly taking guitar lessons and all i can say is that i am loving it.

Another rock star in the making? Well we'll have wait and see about that.
